Ayushmann Khurrana is an Indian film actor who has become the most trusted name in contemporary Bollywood. Born on 14 September 1984 in Chandigarh as Nishant Khurrana, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has come a long way in a short span of time as a TV host, Singer, Actor and Music Composer.
Popularly known as Ayush, Khurrana was first noticed in 2002 as one of the youngest contestants on Channel V show PopStars. In 2004, Ayushmann won the second season of MTV Roadies at the age of 20 and since then he has not looked back after his successful stint as TV host then Radio Jockey and his film debut in 2012 in Vicky Donor.

Early Life and Education of Ayushmann Khurrana
Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana was born and brought up in Chandigarh where he did his early schooling from St. John’s High School and then went to DAV College. Ayushmann has a master’s degree in Mass Communication from the School of Communication Studies, Punjab University.
Ayushmann was quite active in theater and stage work during his college times. He was also the founding member of theater groups “Aaghaaz” and “Manchtantra” at DAV college Chandigarh. Ayushmann also directed plays and won several awards at various college festivals like Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay), Oasis (Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani) and St. Bedes Shimla.

Ayushmann Khurrana’s father is an astrologer and has written various books on astrology. His mother Poonam Khurrana is a house-wife and brother Aparshakti Khurrana is a famous radio jockey who made his film debut in Amir Khan starrer Dangal in 2016.
Ayushmann is married to his childhood friend and author Tahira Kashyap. They are parents of a son Virajveer Khurrana and a daughter called Varushka Khurrana.

At the young age of 17, Ayushmann Khurrana was noticed when he participated in a Channel V show. His name shot to fame when he won MTV Roadies second season in 2002 and after his mass communication degree he joined as a radio jockey at BIG FM Delhi. As an RJ, Ayushmann Khurrana won Young Achievers Award in 2007 for hosting the show Big Chai – Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann. He was also the youngest recipient of the Bharat Nirman Award.
Ayushmann’s TV career went on with various youth oriented shows like Pepsi MTV Wassup, The Voice of Youngistaan and going further with MTV Fully Faltoo Movies, Cheque De India, and Jaadoo Ek Baar. Apart from being a part of the anchoring team of Extra Innings T20 for Indian Premier League Season 3, Ayushmann successfully co-hosted the second season of MTV Rock On and India’s Got Talent.

- Ayushmann Khurrana is considered the youngest recipient of the Bharat Nirman Award Young Achievers in 2007.
During MTV Roadies (2003), one of the tasks assigned to Ayushmann was sperm donation. Eight years later, he did a movie called Vicky Donor (2012) in which he played the role of a sperm donor.
